Camp Season: 2005-06-14 to 2005-08-08
Sessions:
Swim lessons are offered during 2-week sessions (8 days), Mon. - Thurs.. Lessons are 30 minutes each, and your choice of one of two sessions:
- Morning: 9-11:30 a.m.
- Afternoon: 12-3 p.m.
Campers may take private lessons or join small groups of similarly skilled swimmers.
Harker Summer Swim Camp is designed for campers entering grades 4-8 who love to swim and would like to focus on skill development, endurance and aquatic fun this summer! Campers will:
- Work with friendly, enthusiastic and experienced coaches
- Improve stroke technique, flexibility, coordination and overall performance
- Increase team spirit and sportsmanship
- Focus in the water on swim technique and drill instruction
- Focus on land activities to improve fitness and flexibility
- Participate in the American Red Cross GuardStart Program
- Lessons are grouped into five main areas: prevention, fitness, response, leadership and professionalism.
