Description:

The Summer Theatre Camp of Montclair is a Day Camp, with both Montclair and Cedar Grove locations, where all activities revolve around acting, singing, dancing, theater games, rehearsal and performance! Now in our 18th year, our Camp Programs are designed to engender skill, focus and confidence in a safe and fun environment.

All camp locationsare air-conditioned, clean, lovely and convenient. Snacks are given throughout the day. A healthy and delicious lunch program is available.

Our staff is Certified, Experienced, Caring, Dedicated and thoroughly invested in creating a unique and transformative theatrical experience for your child or children.

All Camp Programs are working-parent friendly with Before and After Care to accommodate a working parent’s busy summer schedule.

Sessions:

Four Week Main Stage Program(Ages 8-10 &11-17)

Full Day: 9:00-4:15 pm (Before and Aftercare Available)

Dates: Monday, June 29 - Friday, July 25

Final Performance: Saturday, July 26

This bold, imaginative and entirely unique program is designed to unleash the expressive power of each participant. Personal and artistic transformation is achieved through acting process, rehearsal and performance.

MORNINGS: Acting * Singing * Dancing * Movement * Yoga* Improvisation * Mime * Theatre Games

AFTERNOONS: Rehearsal for our final, fully costumed and Staged Production!

All The World’s A Stage (Ages 8-11)

HALF DAY: Mornings 9:00 am -12:00 Noon

Afternoons 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

3 Week Sessions: Monday, June 29 - Friday July 17

(Camp closed Friday, July 3)

2 Week Sessions: Monday, July 6 - July 17

Acting, Singing, Dance & Movement! Improvisation! Mime! Theatre games! This program is an exciting, skill-building, creative exploration, including rehearsal for final celebratory show and cast party with family and friends.
